Venue: 51 @ Ang Mo Kio
UNIQLO is opening a new outlet in the neighbourhood of 51 @ Ang Mo Kio on 25 March 2022. Designed to be a sustainable and inclusive shopping environment, the store pilots new initiatives along with community-led projects to better connect and serve shoppers across generations and needs.
Here are 6 things that shoppers can look forward to when (and before) the store opens.
1. Opening Specials
UNIQLO will drum up the excitement and welcome shoppers on its opening day at 9.20 am with an upbeat performance by Taiko drummers from HIBIKIYA School. Shoppers can soak in the powerful rhythms of Taiko drumming, a traditional art form which has been celebrated for centuries.
The first 200 customers to visit the store each day between 25 and 27 March 2022 can enjoy a complimentary Toast Box breakfast set, while another 500 customers will enjoy a complimentary hot kopi or teh without any purchase.
Also, UNIQLO and Shopee app members can redeem a snack from the memory lane at random with any purchase from the 51 @ AMK store between 25 and 27 March 2022, and the flashing of the UNIQLO and Shopee apps. From the multi-coloured Iced Gem Biscuits and crunchy Craze Hottis to Seaweed Flakes and Roasted Peanuts from Shopee Supermarket, be sure to savour the complimentary time-honoured flavours enjoyed across generations. While stocks last.
Furthermore, with a minimum purchase of $80 in a single receipt, members can stand a chance to win vouchers from UNIQLO’s partners in the neighbourhood such as Toast Box, Old Chang Kee and Apiary between 25 and 27 March 2022 through a Spin & Win. They can also receive a complimentary Wheat Straw Bowl and Cutlery Set, which is multi-functional and compactly designed for everyday use. While stocks last.
Between 28 March and 10 April from 4pm to 9pm, app members can enjoy a scoop of Apiary ice cream on UNIQLO with a minimum spend of SGD60. Look out for a limited-edition flavour, specially created for UNIQLO. There is a limited quantity daily, with one redemption per customer.

6. RE.UNIQLO Repair Studio
RE.UNIQLO Repair Studio in UNIQLO 51@AMK will be the first to offer repair service in Asia, where an on-site repair team offers simple yet practical repairs to extend the life of UNIQLO clothing items.
The service is available every Saturday, with fees starting from $5 per repair. UNIQLO partners with Haute Alteration Initiative, winner of the 2012 President's Challenge Social Enterprise Award, a social enterprise whose aim is to equip marginalised women with garment alteration and repair skills so that they can attain an adequate source of income and lead a better quality of life.
This is part of the Re.UNIQLO programme, which contributes towards a circular economy through recycling, reusing, repairing and reducing waste.
7. UNIQLO Access
Working closely with community partners and social service agencies, the new store will launch UNIQLO Access, an initiative designed to support customers with special needs, to ensure that LifeWear is accessible by all. UNIQLO aims to foster an inclusive environment by providing the store as a conducive platform for customers with special needs to integrate with society, and at the same time for both the staff and regular customers to embrace disability inclusion.
UNIQLO 51@AMK will be the first store to launch UNIQLO Access, and will also be the first store to be retrofitted with wheelchair-friendly fitting rooms.
Starting from 25 March 2022, customers can book their preferred one-hour time slots via UNIQLO’s website. They can also indicate their specific needs, which the store staff will support to drive consumer inclusion.
