Situated within the park are also two playgrounds—Clusia Cove and Forest Ramble—made up of natural elements. The highlight of Telok Blangah Hill Park is the Terrance Garden and for good reason. Perched at the top of the park, the garden consists of a series of semi-circular terraces. West Coast Park is a heaven for parents! With a sprawling playground featuring large climbing structures, obstacle courses, sand play, and so much more to deplete the endless energy supply in kids, it’s no wonder. Additionally, if you don’t feel like packing any food from home, you can just grab some grub from the nearby McDonald’s!

East Coast Park is so big that you can fill your whole day up just by exploring the space. From the eye-catching Marine Cove Playground to a scenic route perfect for skating and cycling, even just strolling, there’s much to keep you occupied, including a Bougainvillea Garden with bright blooms.
In the evening, when you’re tired from all the action, you can spread out a mat under a shade and indulge in tea-time snacks as the sun goes down. Area F is a relatively quiet place where you can settle down for a picnic.
5. HortPark

6. National Orchid Garden

Nestled on the highest hill in the Singapore Botanic Gardens is the National Orchid Garden, home to over 1000s of species and hybrids of orchids. Stroll through the four seasons at the four different zones at the garden—the spring zone with its vibrant shades of gold and cream, summer zone where reds and pinks paint a vivid image, the autumn zone with matured shades, and the winter zone with its whites and cool violet shades.
After you’ve finished admiring the blooms, you can head to the Palm Valley Lawn, near the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage. With its wide space and towering trees, the lawn is an ideal spot for a quiet picnic with the family.
