Go on a Space Adventure at Marina Square! | Free Mall Playground

Marina Square has undergone many changes over the last few years and many of these changes have moved it up the "Family Friendliness" barometer.

We have seen the opening of Kiztopia, one of the largest indoor playground in Singapore, Nerf Experience, the first Nerf Gun indoor play venues, and parents on BYKidO has voted Sesame Street at Marina Square as the best Meet & Greet of Dec 2019!

Outer Space-themed Mall Playground

The latest addition to Marina Square's "Family Friendliness" score is the revamped Mall Playground located at Level 3, outside of The Little Gym and Marks & Spencer

Previously an animal themed area, it now goes out of this world with an Outer Space theme, complete with Aliens and a flying saucer!

Small Play Area

As with most mall playgrounds, the playground at Marina Square is free to play, but small and offers limited play equipment and structure.

And with all mall playgrounds, you never see a kid standing around looking bored. In fact, you will see the kids having fun and exercising their creativity in the smallest of space! Especially if your kid loves anything space-related!

Space Ships, Satellites and Slides

You can expect a space ship (with an Alien too) where the kid may sit within, a little Satellite to crawl and hide, and a slide too! There are also Outer Space-themed Kiddy Rides (chargeable) around the play area too!

But for the first time, we also noticed an interactive board where kids may play colors and shape matching games, tap and pop, etc. We have seen this at paid indoor playgrounds, like Kidz Amaze Toa Payoh, but its the first time we have seen this at a Mall Playground.

In our opinion, this is not a play area to specifically go for, but with all the kids friendly amenities at Marina Square, it is a good (and free) spot to let the kids play for an hour (or 2)!
