A New Chill and Play Area @ United Square Opens!

United Square is one of the most family-oriented malls in Singapore, and they have take it a notch higher with this new Chill and Play Area (not the official name) located at the outdoor area of Basement 1.
It stretches from McDonald's to Vienna International Buffet Restaurant at the other end, and takes over the spot that used to be the water feature. Judging from our visit, the kids strongly agree (with the screams and laughter) to this change!

Chill
The entire area is carpeted with artificial grass and we spotted many families seated on the grass. Some were simply chatting while others had their takeaway with them too.
Come evening, the lighted trees add to the atmosphere and you won't feel like moving away from your spot.
Play
It is not a massive playground with slides and what-nots, but made up of mainly movable structures. There are a little playground structure with slides, swings and see-saws spread across the area.
Nothing too fancy or over-the-top, but enough for the kids to spend an hour or so. Don't miss the donuts swings, as they will be popular with both the young and old.
