This is NOT a coding camp. Kids will be taught to identify problems and create simple solutions for the problems at hand and apply the design thinking process to arrive at a solution. They also learn how to pitch and market their ideas.

Kidspreneurship

Kidspreneurship has been awarded "Leaders in Early Entrepreneurship Education" by APAC Insider and is all about nurturing, building and developing an entrepreneurial spirit in every child. When students are exposed to entrepreneurial thinking, a profound change takes place. They become aware of the opportunities around them. They think more critically and creatively. The result: they become more confident and experimental in their ability to problem-solve and tackle challenges.

Kidspreneurship workshops and camps are carefully designed for kids age 8 and above to equip them with tools that they can leverage to create an entrepreneurial and growth mindset.

Camp Theme - How To Prototype A Mobile App

The camp helps students identify problems and create simple solutions for the problems at hand and apply the design thinking process to arrive at a solution. They also learn how to pitch and market their ideas. This is not a tech camp and they will learn how to think and conceptualize a mobile app rather than how to code a mobile app. Because we believe that before making them learn how to code, they should learn how to think. Coding can be outsourced, but the ability to think can never be outsourced.

This is a chance to hone their creative skills, public speaking skills, and problem-solving skills all in one workshop. Most importantly, it is a chance to make them start thinking like an entrepreneur.

• Day 1 – What Is Entrepreneurship with a focus on Mindset, Skillset & Knowledge (Worksheets, Card Games & More..)
• Day 2 – Problem Identification – Identify User Needs and Challenges.
• Day 3 – Design Thinking Approach Towards Problem Solving – Conceptualize a Mobile App/Tech Solution
• Day 4 – Prototype Solutions And Learn The Art Of Storytelling/Pitching Ideas
• Day 5 – Learn How To Market Mobile App & Understand How To Make Money

This is a 5-day, half day camp happening at Marine Parade Central. Below are the dates of the camp.

What can be refunded?

When refunds are applicable, we will review the request on a case-by-case basis. Do note that refunds will be for the amount paid on the BYKidO platform, and not for any amount paid directly to the merchant. 

What cannot be refunded?

Once the item has been out for delivery or the service rendered, BYKidO will no longer be able to offer any direct refunds. Instead, refund requests related to amount paid directly to the merchant, or when items have been received or services rendered, will be directed to the respective merchant of the item / service.
