DesignTinkers 5-day Holiday Camp 3

On Day 1 & 2, students will be introduced to Design Thinking principles to identify their needs and desires for their bedroom spaces before starting on the floor layout planning. They will get to personalize and decorate the interior spaces; learn model-making techniques and get creative transforming everyday materials into their own unique bedroom model prototype. 

On Day 3, Students will get to be a Graphic Designer for a Day!
Step into the shoes of a Graphic Designer and bring your brand to life! Students will use Canva to design their own Company Brand Logo and marketing materials—like business cards, letterheads, and basic product packaging. Along the way, they’ll learn how visual content communicates messages, exploring key design principles such as visual hierarchy, page layout, and typography. A fun and practical introduction to the world of branding and design! 

On Day 4, students will learn Basic Introduction to TinkerCAD + 3D Printing (Level 1).

Guided by experienced instructors and 3D printing specialists, children will learn TinkerCAD to create a mini stationery pot before exporting it to a 3D printer for printing. Children will witness the process of their digital form being printed from scratch. 

While waiting for the 3D print, students will continue to explore TinkerCAD digital space; learning how to use the software as a design tool to create various digital forms. This immersive hands-on learning will empower them to envision, design, and shape their future prototypes.

On Day 5, students will delve deeper into the exploration of TinkerCAD, mastering more advanced modelling techniques to design, model and 3D print their own creations. 

DesignTinkers camps are thoughtfully curated and led by a passionate team of educators, architects and designers with a shared mission: to inspire and empower young minds through design. With extensive experience working with children and teens, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing each student’s creative interests in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

All our camps are held in our spacious and conducive classrooms where students can create and explore freely under guidance.

Laptops will be provided on Day 3 to Day 5 of the camp. However, we do encourage students to bring their own device, laptop or IPad to continue working on their project at home.

What can be refunded?

When refunds are applicable, we will review the request on a case-by-case basis. Do note that refunds will be for the amount paid on the BYKidO platform, and not for any amount paid directly to the merchant. 

What cannot be refunded?

Once the item has been out for delivery or the service rendered, BYKidO will no longer be able to offer any direct refunds. Instead, refund requests related to amount paid directly to the merchant, or when items have been received or services rendered, will be directed to the respective merchant of the item / service.
