DesignTinkers: 3-day Design A Home Camp (8 - 12 Years Old)

A project-based workshop where students get to design a Home for their Family. Students will apply Design Thinking principles to better understand the needs, preferences, and challenges of the people they are designing for and be introduced to the basics of space planning for a home. Sign up now!

3-day Design A Home Camp

They will begin by planning their designs in 2D, then translate their ideas into 3D models with thoughtful consideration for architectural scale, light, ventilation, views, and communal landscape areas. Along the way, students will be introduced to the basics of space planning and learn fundamental model-making skills, creatively transforming everyday materials into their very own home prototypes.

Every child's creation will be unique, reflecting their family's specific needs and aspirations. This hands-on workshop encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving, while providing a meaningful and fun introduction to real-world design and architecture.

DesignTinkers camps are thoughtfully curated and led by a passionate team of educators, architects and designers with a shared mission: to inspire and empower young minds through design. With extensive experience working with children, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing each student’s creative interests in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. All our camps are held in our spacious and conducive classrooms where students can create and explore freely under guidance.

We offer 100% refunds for items not yet out for delivery or services not yet rendered, except in exceptional cases. 

What can be refunded?

When refunds are applicable, we will review the request on a case-by-case basis. Do note that refunds will be for the amount paid on the BYKidO platform, and not for any amount paid directly to the merchant. 

What cannot be refunded?

Once the item has been out for delivery or the service rendered, BYKidO will no longer be able to offer any direct refunds. Instead, refund requests related to amount paid directly to the merchant, or when items have been received or services rendered, will be directed to the respective merchant of the item / service.
