1. Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm

At Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm, you will get to see hundreds of saltwater crocodiles of different ages and sizes, from a safe distance at the covered walkway around the lake. You can also hold baby crocodiles and witness crocodile feeding, which will require you pay extra.

If your tots love animals, this might be an interesting trip to take, where you can pick up fascinating facts about these fearsome creatures. A note of caution, if your little ones love running around, do have a tight hold on them while you’re here to be safe.

The fresh air, surrounding greenery and tranquil atmosphere at Hutan Bandar Recreational Park is ideal for a relaxing afternoon walk with the little ones. There is also a children’s playground for the little ones to run free.

5. Kota Tinggi Firefly Park

If nature and beautiful sights are your thing then you might not want to miss seeing thousands of fireflies dancing about at their natural habitat, their glow lighting up the dark night. To do that you have to first board a boat at Kota Tinggi Firefly Park, which will then be brought through tranquil waters where you can feast your eyes on the scene of immense splendour.

6. Sri Tanjung Leisure Farm [Permanently Closed]

Take a break from the bustling city life for a taste of a simpler farm life. At Sri Tanjung Leisure Farm, you can tour fruit and vegetable plantations, like pineapples and corns, and discover how they’re grown and harvested.            

Some of the inhabitants you’ll meet along the way are goats, rabbits, ostriches, raccoons, horses, chickens, porcupine, swans, and deer. Though it is a small farm, being able to interact with the farm animals in such close quarters is enough to delight the kids.
