Kids Watch Free Movies - Golden Village, Shaw and WE Cinemas (Updated 2023)

Thinking of watching a movie with your kid? Did you know that Golden Village, Shaw and WE Cinemas have a kids watch for free promotion? We also included other venues that you can catch movies for free too! Read on to find out more! 

Golden Village

At Golden Village,  Kids (6 years and below) get to watch movie for free with every walk-in standard ticket purchased! For every 1 standard ticket purchased, one child below 6 years old will get a free movie ticket. Promotion is applicable at all GV Cinema, for sessions before 2pm on Monday to Friday.

Promotion is valid from 3 Jan 2023 – 17 Nov 2023 for for sessions before 2 pm on Mondays to Fridays, excluding School Holidays, Public Holidays & eve of Public Holidays and any other days gazetted as Public Holidays.

Shaw Theatres

At Shaw Theatres, kids (6 years old and below) enjoy free admission with every standard (full price) ticket purchase by an accompanying adult for G, PG and PG13 rated movie titles only.

The standard ticket and free ticket for child must be of the same movie and session. and valid for shows before 2PM, from Mon-Fri (excluding Public Holidays & Eve of Public Holidays).

WE Cinemas

At WE Cinemas, one child (below 90cm) goes free with purchase of a full-priced ticket for a standard 2D movie, up to the category of $12.50 (anytime except PH and eve of PH).

Which is the better offer? 

WE Cinemas if your LO is below 90cm since its available at anytime (for tickets up to $12.50) while GV and Shaw requires movies to be before 2 pm and on Mon to Fri only.. 

Otherwise, the promotions are relatively similar and only valid for weekdays. But do note that GV's promotion include blackout on the school holidays period.

• ST3PS @ Changi Airport Terminal 3: Changi Airport’s ST3PS is a communal space where you can catch free movie screenings around the clock! Check schedule here.
• Festive Plaza @ Our Tampines Hub: For a spontaneous movie date night, you can swing by Our Tampines Hub. The open-air plaza at Our Tampines Hub transforms into a movie theatre but remember to check on their Facebook page for the latest show dates and time!
• Celebration Square @ One Punggol: Families living near One Punggol will be excited to know that they can head down to catch regular movie screenings - details are posted on their Facebook page.
• Palawan Beach @ Sentosa: On selected days, you can catch a free movie screening of popular movies at Sentosa. Get the updated movie timings and dates here.
