Dressing up with your little ones and going treat or treating together as a family can be much fun but it is not spooky enough for our fellow horror-lovers to revel in the Halloween spirit.

And if that’s how you feel, fret not, here’s a list of 6 spooktacular things you can do in Singapore for this Halloween when the kids go to bed!

1. Take a Trip to USS’s Halloween Horror Nights!

Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Fun for Everyone may have just launched this year but the Halloween Horror Nights has been spooking folks yearly for the past several years. With five haunted houses, two scare zones and two killer shows featuring twisted clowns, vengeful ghosts, wicked doll, and a morbid metal procession, it is not for the faint-hearted. The highlight of this scare-fest is The Curse of the Naga, an original creation by the directors of Thai horror films, Shutter and 4bia.

2. Walk Among The Walking Dead at Clarke Quay!

From 31 Oct 2019 to 2 Nov 2019, you can immerse yourself into the world of The Walking Dead at Clarke Quay and see if you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse!

Test your marksmanship at the Shooting Range and your courage with mystery boxes. Experience the horror The Walking Dead by diving into the Scavenger Pit filled with severed body parts and become a Walker yourself with some blood and gut Makeup. Survive all the challenges and arrive at the Photo Booth where you can shoot your victory pose.

If you can survive at least 3 of the 5 challenges and collect the victory stamps, you can win exclusive The Walking Dead Halloween merchandise (while stocks last)!

3. Munch Out at Edge!

Even supernatural creatures need sustenance and Edge is just the spot to get them this Halloween. Feast on ghoulish treats such as Demonic Nun (Beef Tartare), Dead Body (Suckling Pig), 18 Levels of Burning Hell (Assorted Pizza Selection), and Krendler’s Brain (Strawberry Cake), served up by nightmarish characters like Hannibal Lecter, The Nun and Annabelle.

4. Pay The Bukit Brown Cemetery a Visit!

If you’re on the lookout for a little hair-raising adventure, you can take a walk along the tombs of the Bukit Brown Cemetery. With the guide of the Wayfinder, a self-guided walking tour, you’ll be able to unveil the rich history and heritage of the cemetery. And with the Bukit Brown Cemetery being one of the oldest and largest cemeteries in Singapore, it’s no wonder the place is rife with stories of hauntings. In other words, it’s just your place for a little spooky venture.

5. Have a Horror Movie Marathon!

Put your little ones to sleep before switching off the lights and pull out a line-up of classic horror films, like Hocus Pocus, The Silence of the Lambs, Rosemary’s Baby, Orphan, and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, to get in the spooky mood. Pop open a bottle of wine to company your movie marathon to add to the mood. The internet is a great place where you can look for almost anything, from what to cook for dinner to finding out if penguins have knees (yes, they do), even spine-chilling tales, which is great especially if you don’t have the patience (or time) to sit through a whole novel.
