Things to do this Weekend: Picnic Under the Stars @ Science Centre Singapore

Location: Science Centre Singapore | 15 Science Centre Rd, Singapore 609081Date: 7 Apr 2017Hour: 7.00 pm - 11.30 pm Admission: FREE Bring Your Kids out to the Science Centre on the 7th of April for a Picnic Under the Stars! It sounds really cool, apart from viewing the gigantic Jupiter as it gets closest to the Earth in 2017, Science Centre will also organising outdoor screening of 2 movies of your choice!  Head to Science Centre's Facebook Page to vote for the movie! However, at the time of posting this, I still have not found where to vote, maybe it will be updated soon. There will also e F&B stalls around to satisfy any hunger pangs too!  Best part, its FREE! but do follow their Facebook page...

Things to do this weekend - Stargazing @ Science Centre Observatory

Location: Singapore Science Centre Observatory | 21 Jurong Town Hall Rd, Singapore 609433 Hour: 7.45 pm - 10.00 pmAdmission: FREE Keen to do something different, head down to the Singapore Science Centre every Friday between 7.45 - 10pm for Free Stargazing sessions! The Science Centre Observatory (SCOB) is one of a few in the world that is located along the Equator and that means that it allows us to view constellations from both the Northern and Southern celestial hemispheres!  Come early @ 7.30pm as Q-numbers are given out from the registration counter but do note that the sessions are weather permitting and you should visit the SCOB Facebook Page for latest updates!    They also do a Astronomy 101 every 2nd Friday of the month...
