Things to do this weekend - Stargazing @ Science Centre Observatory

Location: Singapore Science Centre Observatory | 21 Jurong Town Hall Rd, Singapore 609433 Hour: 7.45 pm - 10.00 pmAdmission: FREE Keen to do something different, head down to the Singapore Science Centre every Friday between 7.45 - 10pm for Free Stargazing sessions! The Science Centre Observatory (SCOB) is one of a few in the world that is located along the Equator and that means that it allows us to view constellations from both the Northern and Southern celestial hemispheres!  Come early @ 7.30pm as Q-numbers are given out from the registration counter but do note that the sessions are weather permitting and you should visit the SCOB Facebook Page for latest updates!    They also do a Astronomy 101 every 2nd Friday of the month...

Places to go this weekend - Fire Station Open House @ Various Fire Stations!

Location: All Fire Stations [except Jurong Island]Date: Every SaturdayHour: 9 am - 11 amAdmission: FREE We visited the Fire Station Open House a couple of months back (and I think we should go again soon.)  My boy has a fascination over Fireman and Policeman, I suspect its because of Paw Patrol... and for those uninitiated, the Paw Patrol Fireman and Policeman Pups are Marshall and Chase respectively (dishing it out like an expert!).  While my boy's favourite uniform personnel is the Policemen, the Police Heritage Tour is meant for older kids with a more National Education purpose and is not a "play tour" for kids - as I am told when I tried to book a visit.  If you do not know yet, Fire Stations...
