If you are a food lover, history buff or curious to learn about Singaporeâs most cherished cultural treasures, hawker food and culture, NLBâs Curiocity invites the public to rediscover the heritage and flavours that have become synonymous with the Singaporean identity through a digital experience running from 5 May to 30 Jun 2025.
The new initiative will trace the evolution of hawkers in Singapore, from their humble street-side beginnings to the bustling hawker centres of today. Audiences will have the chance to journey through time, exploring an interactive story map that charts the locations of past and present hawker centres, and revealing how these spaces have transformed over the years.
There will also be an online quiz based on the new content, giving participants the chance to redeem a $10 Old Chang Kee voucher when they answer all questions correctly.
